Sound Equipment

If you are planning on using the sound equipment, be sure to indicate it below.  The sound equipment and media projector will need to be scheduled with one of our staff only and will cost an extra $50.00 to use.

Kitchen

The kitchen is not available to rent.  The kitchen has been rented to Marilyn Hastings who is available to cater your event if you are interested.  You may contact her at home (302-629-7645) or her cell (302-258-5021).  If you are bringing your own food, we have an over, microwave, sink, refrigerator and freezer available in the room next to the bathrooms.  You will need to bring all of your own utensils.  Please clean up all spills that may occur in the refrigerator, microwave and oven.

Rental Fee

The rental fee for use of the building is $300.00 use of media and sound is an extra $50.00.  This fee covers cleaning and maintenance supplies.  A non-refundable $100.00 check is due upon signing in order to reserve your date.  Please make check payable to Sam Yoder Farm and send along with this agreement.  Keep one copy for your own records.  The balance will be due the day before your event. You can either bring it to the office or mail it so it gets there by that date.

Responsibilities of Renting Party

1.       Turn off all lights when leaving the building.

2.       Remove and dispose of own garbage.  Put trash into dumpsters behind office.  Trash liners are located in the cleaning closet.

3.       Return chairs and tables to original setting.

4.       No smoking is allowed in the building.

5.       No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the building or on the premises. If found with alcohol you will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

6.       We will not be held responsible for any injuries that may occur.

Signature of Agreement

I have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions for rental of the Sam Yoder Community Building.  I understand that I am responsible for the building and any damages that may occur during the event.
